Kevin Faccenda led a group through Homefields’ property, showing them how to recognize and gather historic plants used as food and our wildflowers. He displayed core concepts of wild plant identification through hands-on demonstration along with use of materials such as field guides and plant keys. Local and in-season wild plants which are most useful and tasteful edibles was the focus of the talk.
