Tai Chi and Yoga with Amy Finnegan and Maggie Mowery

Find fluidity, mobility and movement in the moonlight. Amy's peaceful Tai Chi will move the qi through your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. Maggie's gentle, flowing yoga will move you through a few standing poses and then harness the lunar energy with seated and reclining poses to restore you. This will be an hour of gentle, flowing movement accessible for all levels, and beginners are welcome.

Suggested $5 donation, all proceeds go to Homefields
Class will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather

About Amy Finnegan

Amy has spent 19 years as a physical therapist assistant, working with young adults through seasoned citizens. Amy teaches Tai Chi and Silver & Fit classes at Drevna Physical Therapy/Fortius, located in Lancaster, PA (near the Taj Mahal Restaurant.) She is passionate about helping people to gain strength in their body so they are empowered to do the things they love. Through Tai Chi, she helps her students to release the busyness of the world, to move into a slow, intentional space and to connect with their own body, mind and spirit. 

About Maggie Mowery, Certified Alignment Yoga Teacher, Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher

Maggie has been teaching yoga since 2017, and has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Maggie teaches Wall Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Alignment Yoga at West End Yoga Studio in Lancaster, PA, Elevate Fitness in Akron, PA and at the YMCA in downtown Lancaster, PA. Maggie is a certified Alignment Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Sanctuary School in association with West End Yoga. “Alignment Yoga has literally changed my life. I now have a much deeper understanding of how the human body works and of how I can align my own values with the life that I wish to lead." When she is not on her yoga mat, Maggie loves to paint, sculpt in clay, draw, sew, hike, kayak, camp and spend as much time as possible with her loved ones.
