Get TicketsJoin us for a planting party! Come get your hands dirty helping us tuck baby plants into their forever homes in the ground. Bring your own gloves, hat and water bottle. Water and light snacks will be provided.

No experience needed. Children are welcome but must be supervised. Please note that masks and social distancing are required.

Breeding Behavior of American Robins

Get TicketsThis slideshow will describe the reproductive behavior of America’s favorite and most numerous bird. Site selection and nest building, egg laying, the raising of nestlings and the care of fledglings will all be detailed.

The talk will take place under cover in our barn’s pick up area and limited to 10 guests. All CDC guidelines will be in effect.

Len Eiserer went to college at University of Maine and received his doctorate at Bryn Mawr College. He has taught Psychology at various colleges for over 40 years. He wrote what has been called the definitive book on the American Robin in 1976, and more recently has developed a website for “special trees” in Lancaster County. He is now semi-retired and spends his free time on trees, community service, golf, and travel.

Beginner Friendly Alignment Yoga

Get TicketsPlease join Maggie Mowery for an hour long beginner friendly alignment based yoga practice. Learn how to incorporate grounding, elongation, and noticing the natural pulses of the body into your yoga practice.

This class is well-suited for those who are new to yoga, as well yogis who are interested in learning more about an alignment based practice. The class will be relatively gentle in nature, but cues will be offered for those seeking a deeper variation and more core engagement.

Maggie Mowery is a certified Alignment Yoga instructor, as well as a certified Hatha Yoga instructor. She has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching since 2017.
